1700 years from the proclamation of Christianity as Armenia's state religion
The second millennium AD has already reached its end. It is a historical fact that, as according to the Oxford dictionary of the Christian Church, "Armenians were the first to adopt Christianity officially" in 301 AD through a decree issued by King Drtad III. The Armenian Church is officially called Armenian Apostolic Church, for the very simple reason that Christianity was made known in Armenia by two of the apostles of the Lord, Thaddeus and Bartholomieu. Their work was later followed by the sacrifice of many christians.
at the hands of our leadership of the time, Christianity became a weapon with social power against Persian Masteism and not only saved the Arshagouni Dynasty, but also provided a solution for the political crisis in which Armenia had then found itself to be, that of maintaining its national identity.
